Overview
A 30 mL research serum containing GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) in a stable aqueous base, supplied for in-vitro skin-model and formulation research. GHK-Cu is the copper tripeptide first isolated from human plasma by Pickart in 1973 and is the most studied copper peptide in dermatological literature.
Research background
Published in-vitro work on GHK-Cu covers fibroblast collagen synthesis, extracellular-matrix remodelling and gene-expression modulation; formulation research examines its stability and penetration in topical vehicles. This serum format is intended for laboratories working with reconstructed skin models, ex-vivo tissue or formulation stability studies, where a ready-made aqueous preparation is more convenient than reconstituting the lyophilised peptide.

Certificate of analysis
Every lot is tested by an independent US laboratory. The certificate for the lot you receive is linked in the product details above and carries the same lot number as the vial label. New to reading one? How to read a peptide certificate of analysis.
Handling and storage
Store closed, cool and protected from light. Do not freeze. See peptide storage and shelf life for the general principles.
Frequently asked questions
What is the concentration of GHK-Cu in the serum?
The concentration for the lot you receive is stated on the certificate of analysis linked above.
Is this the same material as the 50 mg lyophilised vial?
Same active peptide; different format. The vial is lyophilised powder for reconstitution; the serum is a pre-formulated aqueous preparation for topical research models.
How should the serum be stored?
Closed, cool and out of direct light. Do not freeze.
Can the serum be used on people?
No. It is supplied for laboratory and formulation research only, not for cosmetic, human or veterinary use.
Is it third-party tested?
Yes — identity and concentration of the active are reported on the lot certificate.
Research use only. All products are supplied for in-vitro and preclinical laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Purchaser must be 21+ and accept the Research Use Acknowledgement.
