Description

Overview

A 30 mL research serum combining GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide) with Snap-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3), an eight-amino-acid peptide derived from the N-terminal of the SNAP-25 protein. Supplied for in-vitro skin-model and formulation research where the two peptides are studied together.

Research background

GHK-Cu has a substantial in-vitro literature in fibroblast and extracellular-matrix research. Snap-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) is studied as a SNARE-complex mimetic peptide: in cell-based assays it competes with SNAP-25 for a position in the complex that mediates vesicle release. The two are frequently combined in formulation research because they are examined for different endpoints in the same reconstructed-skin models. Data for both are predominantly in-vitro.

Frequently asked questions

What is Snap-8?

Acetyl octapeptide-3, an eight-residue peptide modelled on the N-terminal of SNAP-25, studied in vitro as a SNARE-complex competitor.

What concentrations are in the serum?

Stated per lot on the certificate of analysis linked above.

Storage?

Closed, cool and dark. Do not freeze.

Is it for cosmetic or human use?

No. Research and formulation use only, as supplied.

Is it tested?

Yes — the lot certificate reports identity and concentration of both actives.

Research use only. All products are supplied for in-vitro and preclinical laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Purchaser must be 21+ and accept the Research Use Acknowledgement.
